Flower Children

I was completely awe-struck by this amazing novel. It shows an extremely accurate account of childhood. The calming flow of words perfectly portrays the '70s through the eyes of free-frolicking children. This novel helps capture laughter and joy in times of havoc.

New Fashion

I absolutely love the new Marc Jacobs Spring Summer 09 collection. The high-waisted look helps add a particular emphasis to the gorgeous tops. Check it out Here . Also, I noticed that there was a particular number that reminded me of a recent outfit Lady Gaga wore. See the similarity?- Well, minus the umbrella and over-the-top boots. It seems like hats are back in style.

Tickets for Coldplay and Kings of Leon are running out fast!
I'm pretty excited to see U2. I love their new album, No Line on the Horizon, although it's not as amazing as their past ones.

Mika Experience

Last week, my friends and I scored some free tickets to an acoustical performance by Mika. I am surprised to say it was COMPLETELY worth waiting in line a total of 4 hours (for the tickets/show). He is an amazing performer and I'm glad he's back.Both nights, Perez and Mika showed up in an ice cream truck. Turns out the owner (Mathew) travels the country handing out free ice cream at events (he only earns money through sponsors).Personally, I think that's a pretty cool career choice.
